Nature & Sustainability
The rich landscape of mature woodland, rolling hills and tranquil ponds is being carefully renovated by our landscape architects, Šmídová, based on a concept by Enzo Enea, which uses indigenous planting to attract native wildlife and provide colour as the seasons change.
As an Oaks Prague resident you can enjoy views across the landscape, including its gardens which have been designed as natural extensions of the indoor living spaces.
Our sustainability initiatives include ground source heat pumps, recycling rain water and biofilters to protect areas such as fishponds and meadows, together with wooden wildlife shelters and undulating terrain to guard and help increase biodiversity on site.
We look to source materials locally, recycling and reusing wherever possible. Furthermore we will participate in appropriate international sustainability programmes, such as GEO Foundation’s Golf Course Programme (www.sustainable.golf).
