Oaks is full of all our latest stories – from a creation of residential housing, PGA National golf course to the renovation of our historic Chateu.
We are pleased to introduce you to our new COO of Hospitality, Peter Hartevelt. Peter has Dutch and American nationalities and brings more than 25 years of experience leading and building luxury hotels around the world. He has worked extensively with international brands such as Hilton Worldwide, but also with the creation of independent boutique Hotels, covering design, construction, strategy, and operations. Recent projects include Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa (French Caribbean), Le Royal Champagne (France) and the Kempinski Residences St. Moritz (Switzerland). He enjoys travelling and broadening his horizons, as evidenced by the fact that he has lived in eleven different countries and still enjoys discovering new, unconventional places such as the Galapagos Islands, the Faroe Islands or Tasmania.
At Oaks Prague, Peter will lead all activities related to the development and operations of our amenities – current and future: golf, future restaurants and bistro, wine cellar, hotel and spa, etc. – everything that we have planned to make living in and visiting Oaks Prague a truly exceptional experience.
With effect from 8 June 2020, the sole shareholder appointed Mr. Václav Šlosar, the current Construction Director of Oaks Prague, a new member of the Board of Directors of ARENDON a.s. and Arendon Development Company a.s.
At the same time, Mr. Petr Medvedík was subsequently elected a Chairman of the Board of Directors of both companies.
Surely you know that the access road to Oaks Prague was only possible through village Chomutovice. We are busy with the finalisation of the construction of the official access road to the Oaks Pavilion. Most of the engineering works have been completed, and all sublayers, as well as principle tarmac layers of the road itself, are in place. We are now installing curbs along the roadsides, the parking area and a drop off zone. We are also paving the parking lot. We are thrilled to inform you that from the 1st of July, you can take this new route to go directly to the Oaks Pavilion.
